Why is my iPhone 8 not notifying me of texts from just one person?
I get phone calls from that number ok, and I get notifications from all of my incoming Texts.

In the Messages list view, find a thread from that person, put your finger on the line, slide right to left, and tap on the bell icon on the blue square. Apparently notifications from that user are muted.
