apple watch Ultra, damage in water

Friends, i have bought the apple watch Ultra the minute i saw you promoting that this item is a water resistant and you even had a promotion showing swimmers using the watch.

i have the watch since 14months and has not even a single scratch, i was wearing it and got in the pool for 2 minutes, suddenly the watch turned off, and gone dead since then!

sent it for repair and they told me the device is not fixable!

the question is why are we paying that much for an item that can not resist water for 2 minutes even i turned on the water resistant option before getting in! and if the watch can not tolerate being in water why was that promoted?!

honestly i have been using apple products for more than 20 years so far and for the first time i feel that i was literally bluffed!
