Has Apple resolved this issue with com.apple.app-analytics.production.upload-dropbox creating ghost folders in Documents?

For several days now, this folder has been created in my documents: com.apple.app-analytics.production.upload-dropbox. In the folder are dozens of folders with cryptic names that are empty. The subfolders are created every four minutes. I tried deleting Dropbox app and extensions, and that didn't work. Dropbox says the issue is Apple's. If I delete the folder, it comes back within a few hours.

I disabled analytics per one suggestion in one of the communities.

I chatted with Apple Support.

I am curious if anyone is having the same issue and if Apple has offered a fix?
