I'm moving up to the top of the line Mac Mini but I want a 32 inch monitor I need some suggestions the BenQ is $1,000 but there's LG monitors for 300 what's the difference and will I notice it? I'm not a gamer but I do watch movies on the monitor

Our Verdict BenQ EW3270U vs LG 32GK650F-B
The BenQ EW3270U is a bit better for mixed usage, but the LG 32GK650F-B is much better for gaming. The EW3270U supports HDR, although this doesn't add much, and it has much better gradient handling. The EW3270U also has a higher resolution screen. For gaming, though, the LG 32GK650F-B is much better. The LG has a much faster refresh rate, lower input lag, and an optional black frame insertion feature.

Notice the big res diff, I think the cheaper lower rez would be good enough... lest you're going to try to correct my political opinion in witch I'd look into a $10,000 display!
BDAqua: as you are into this stuff more than me...here's the latest update. Today I bought at the local WallyWorld for $210 ( on sale from $299 ) LG 32GN600 2560 x 1440 QHD
Hooked it up to my Macbook pro M2 mirrored with a USB-C to HDMI cable. Clicked the appropriate resolution on the Mac, and I found the sharpness and contrast disappointing even after fiddling with all the variables. Nothing at all compared to the screen on the Mac.
It is being returned.
I see prices of 32 inchers in the thousands, and I am not poor, and hate to waste $$.
So what do I look for to give a similar view as on the Mac. I did not see the non-glare screen on the LG as much of a benefit over the Mac.
All help appreciated. Andremember I will be getting the top MacMini.

I'm looking for the highest resolution possible without breaking the bank. Probably the max I would want to spend would be around $700. I know a lot of these monitors do not come with a video camera or speakers. The speaker is not a big deal but are there any with internal cameras?

It's better for speed & higher resolutions, but uses a valuable TB port that you might want to use elsewhere.
I'm just simply browsing the web and correcting political opinions of others....no gaming, often movies on youtube or netflix...
