How to sync two users on Mac mini to transfer data from one to another?

Hello Community,

I installed a second user on my previous Macbook which has been installed on my new Mac mini2. Now I would like to unite the 2 users as I don't need the second anymore. How can I copy the data to the first User?

Thank you for any help in this...

I'd copy the desired user data files to an external APFS formatted USB disk and then copy them to the other user. Remember to copy some files from the hidden ~/Library (local Mail folder, for example). Use the system for a while and delete the other user when you are certain that no useful data is there.

You could also copy the files to /Users/Shared but then you may have to adjust permissions to the other user after copying the files there.
