Stuck at the question mark in folder.

I erased my Mac Air and went through the steps,I get to where it shows two options "Untitled" and "Update" I have to mail this back on Monday and really need to get this back to factory settings. When I try to reinstall Sierra,it shows approx. 6 minutes on each one,and when it gets to a few seconds left, then it shows an error that it can't be installed. HELP!!
