MacBook Air M3 keeps freezing

My MacBook Air M3 keeps freezing for no reason. It used to handle over hundred safari tabs and multiple word documents just fine a few months ago. Now, it randomly freezes when I'm using Microsoft word or Safari when I have a single document or just five tabs open. I restarted the device multiple times but the issue keeps recurring. I bought this laptop very recently and never had such issues with my M1 air with the most basic configuration. I only use the laptop for work purposes and do not click on dodgy links that might install malware. Activity monitor does not display any unusual activity and I have the latest version of MacOS installed (Sonoma 14.5).
