Device type iPhone and device id is showing as iPhone 14 in iPhone 15

I have purchased a brand new iPhone 15 from iNvent reseller and I am getting device I’d as iPhone 14 in a particular third party application. Concerned about genuine ness of the phone. What should I do?

Hello! If you would like to check what exact phone it is, follow these steps:

Go to Settings > General and tap About.
Look for the serial number. You might need to scroll down to find the IMEI/MEID and ICCID.
To paste this information into Apple registration or support forms, touch and hold the number to copy.
