I've had the weirdest problem—whenever I select text, in any capacity (and across applications), it immediately is deleted. In fact, any text before my cursor is deleted, as if the delete key is stuck. When I reboot, it's all fine for a while and then at some point the auto-deleting starts again. It's maddening! What is this?

use keyboard viewer to see if any key is stuck, if it is, that key will be highlighted

Now something similar happens: it’s as if the shift key is stuck: whenever I select 1 word (or email) everything before that is selected too. It’s like I’m shift-selecting all the time. Happens across applications. Checked the keyboard viewer: neither shift nor any other key is stuck. What’s going on here?
Thanks! Problem hasn't re-occured since the last time I re-booted. Will keep an eye out for this though. Thanks again!
