Why can't I gmail Pages documents?

6/17/24 It worked fine until about a week ago.

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17

How were you gmailing them? I just sent a Pages doc from my gmail account to my yahoo account by starting an email and attaching the document, which worked fine.

Export to PDF to Gmail. I've been doing this for years, then it stopped working. When I try to attach the file to Gmail directly, my file name doesn't appear on the list of attachments that I can attach.
