Is this a legit message from apple?

I lost my iPhone in October 2023 in Benidorm and received this text message today… does anyone know if it’s legit? I don’t understand how they’ve got my number and how the location of where it was lost (or stolen) is known? Thanks.

This is a scam that is trying to trick you into providing your Apple ID and Password so the bad guys can get into your phone.

You know this is a scam....because Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen phones and they will never send a message like this.

Just delete the message and any others like it that you might receive.
