Can't drag and drop emoji in iMessage

So, you brought up the emoji keyboard, then typed a word in the search box? You then tried to drag one of the emoji from the search results? Try searching for "croc" just like the person did in the video. If you try to do it from the whole selection of emojis, it doesn't work.

Also, try restarting your phone.

I got mine to work, hold image you want to add emoji to, go to add sticker. At very top you’ll see “emoji” face select it and you’ll be able to drag and drop any emoji onto an image as a reply.

The emoji keyboard is a keyboard like any other. Don't press and hold the emoji. Just tap it. It will appear at the insertion point.

I had the same issue and just figured it out. Go to settings > keyboards. Scroll all the way down to Emoji > Stickers. Make sure that is toggled on. Tada! 😊

Okay, the key appears that you have to search for the emoji and then drag and drop it from the search results. Follow exactly what the person does in that video.

I tried it too with no luck. Also tried searching the emoji first like seen in the “croc” video. Same phone and iOS. Let me know if you find a solution.
