My iPhone 12 has been working fine for the last 4 years and all of a sudden this afternoon my imessage stoped working and my phone number verification is constantly spinning. Not sure what to do, it was fine before.

Try a forced restart.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Do you have a text plan still available as activating iMessage requires a text to be sent to Apple’s services in order to activate.
I believe so, yes. My whole family is on the same phone plan and I seem to be the only one with this problem
