Finder not showing image previews

None of the images on the mac are shown in Finder, stuck in endless loading. It's ridiculous :)

Finder stuck at "loading" See attached screenshots of my iMac running the latest Ventura version. When changing from gallery view to column view of a folder on an SSD drive attached via Thunderbolt to my iMac I am seeing the Finder window stuck at loading for ages (many many minutes). Yet there doesn't seem to be any load factors (CPU, memory or disk I/O) that are showing as affecting this sluggish behaviour. Any suggestions?

Finder window not appearing to save files Hello! I have a MacBook Air that has been having this issue for a while and it happens over multiple applications. Sometimes when I try to save or download a file, the finder window would not appear to save the file. This seems to happen randomly like it would be working and then suddenly stop working a few minutes later. This has happened on Adobe illustrator, photoshop, and Chrome. The Finder application is still responding because I can open it manually but it just doesn't appear from another application to allow me to save and name the file. And it would work on illustrator but not photoshop or vice versa. The only way I'm able to resolve the issue is to restart whatever program I was on but that's at the risk of losing my unsaved files. Please help!

file preview stuck on loading icon | does not preview or quick from finder Ever since I updated to the latest macOS (ventura 13.3 - 22E252), the preview and quick look feature for files in finder does not work. It keeps loading but never previews the file. However, the preview app does work, so when I fully open the file, it opens up correctly with it's designated app but the quick look feature and preview in finder does not. This seems to affect files of all size types small to large I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Reboot your Mac. If it is hung in the imagery that you show, then press and hold the power button.
