iphone 15 pro overheating

this is absolutely ridiculous i bought the phone just yesterday its already having the overheating issue no matter what app im using its still overheating.

the heat on it is not normal and the phone cannot be used with this kind of overheating, i hope this issue gets fixed FOR REAL with the ios 18 since apple said its a ios 17 issue.

i hope its not a design flaw because im gonna need this phone and i cant buy another 1

Are you seeing a symbol of a thermometer with a warning the phone needs to cool down before it can be used again? If no, your phone is NOT overheating. But when you get a new iPhone, for the first few days, it is working hard to index millions of bytes of data. And if you're using it to do intensive things at the same time, it is completely normal for the phone to run warm for a few days. When people get a new phone, they tend to push it to try things out, while it's doing its normal housekeeping. And Apple publicly said for the first few days with the newest generation phones, they will run warmer than people may have seen previously.

Give it a few days to settle down.

Return this. You have 14 days to do so. It seems to be a filthy device.
