Can i link data from one text box (cell) in one Pages file to another cell in a different Pages file?

I'm using Pages 14.1 version. I've created a 'master' file with a table containing texts and added sums in various columns and rows. Can I create another set of files with single sections of the 'master' table and link the 'total' to each corresponding cell into the 'master' document? So that when I update calcs within these separate sections of the table, the figures are automatically updated.

There is no "linking and embedding" of Pages content between documents. You can, however, do this in MS Word or LibreOffice Writer as that is the way Microsoft, or the Document Foundation respectively designed it.

It might be, however, Apple has resisted the last 19 years of creating Pages with MS Word features and is quite unlikely to change direction now. There is a reason I also have Office 2021 for Mac and LibreOffice 24.2.4 installed on my Mac.

Thanks, I suspected as much. It would be a useful feature to have in Pages too.
