I have an issue because when I open Numbers in my iMac19 it suddenly stops and closes the app and it give me a choice to reopen the app but when I click reopen it happens again. what's the problem? Numbers is updated. My OS is up to date, Sonoma 14.5

Try to open Numbers while pressing the shift key.
If the application is still not working, drag it to the Trash and reinstall it from the App Store by going to your purchases. Deleting the application will have absolutely no impact on your files as they are stored elsewhere on your Mac (in your Documents folder to the iCloud Drive folder.)
Mail quit unexpectedly too. I have scanned for virus and malware. Nothing.
