Do you have any recommendations for third-party mice that work well with Apple computers, preferably wired mice with a USB-C end?

I want to get a new mouse since the one I currently have is unreliable and is currently refusing to connect to my MacBook (it connects to other devices fine). Logitech Support said that the Apple USB-A-to-USB-C adapter might be interfering with the ability to connect, therefore I should use a mouse that actually is able to connect to my Mac directly rather than using an adapter.

I tried using a Magic Mouse, and hated it. The ergonomics is bad (it's flat). Even if I buy an ergonomic base, I don't like how the right click button and left click button are not the same size, therefore it's so easy to acciddentally left click when you want to right click. Also, I don't link that the mouse is all one button that detects where you are pressing on that one button, since that means you cannot right click and left click at the same time.

I want a mouse that's reliable, but not over-the-top.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.5

the mx anywhere 3 would work I used one of the older anywhere with mine, mind you it's not an usb-c mouse it only uses that to charge with it's a bluetooth mouse

about work well then I would expect all of them to work well really, usb-a ones too if you use an usb-c to a adaptor which are pretty cheap

Amazon.com : usb-a to usb-c adapter

I would expect them to work because the HID usb interface it generic so mac, windows, linux and whatever they should all work same with keyboards too really
