My Macbook Pro screen got cracked by its own

I have a Macbook 14 pro M3 max purchased 3 months ago. I use it with extreme care. I was working on it and it was fine, then took a break for an hour and came back to it found the screen got cracked internally by its own.

The only thing I did, I used the MagSafe charger for the first time to charge it during my 1 hour break. It’s the only thing I can suspect that it was the reason because literally there was no other reason

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.0

Apple warranty does not cover glass breakage. It covers defects in materials or workmanship, ONLY, during the warranty period.

The glass display survived a trip half way around the world from the factory in China and was delivered to you undamaged.

Apple is not willing to debate the CAUSE of cracked glass. it is simply NOT COVERED.

If you wanted coverage for glass breakage, you had 60 days from purchase to buy AppleCare PLUS, which covers broken displays with a US$100 co-pay. if you decided NOT to buy that coverage, you gambled that you would never have to pay that price, about US$300.

You lost that bet, and the US$300 must now be paid, in addition to about the same amount again to get a new display (or closer to another US$500 additional for the 16-in display)
