I am unable to move a folder from my documents to my external hard drive on my MacBook

I am attempting to move a folder from my documents to my external hard drive. I'm using the command "mv ~/Documents/Electronic\ Arts /Volumes/USB/" when I press enter it says "mv: rename /Users/ninjaxion/Documents/Electronic Arts to /Volumes/USB/Electronic Arts: Permission denied". I've granted terminal full disk access. I'm not sure what else to do..

Have you granted Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal "Full Disk Access" in the System Preferences -> Privacy & Security panel?

"Full Disk Access" is yet another turning of the security screw to tighten things down.

Hi! I have the same problem and tried everything that you suggested to the other person. I turned off and on all my permissions just to make sure and even restart my macbook. What can I do to fix this problem?
