How do I turn off "Text To Speech" on my MacBook Air?

My MacBook Air speaks each letter I type. How do I turn it off?

Go to System Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content and turn off "Speak typing feedback."

Dictation on Mac is enabled but typing the words out repeatedly, how to stop this. so if i say "today we went " it will type all the words out 4 or 5 times in one long word rather than 1 time with spaces. Dictation seems to work sporadically on my Mac. Any advice to stop this
