DirecTV Stream app controls in Apple TV

DirecTV Stream app for Apple TV lost some of the controls. Top down menu is gone. Has anyone noticed this? This is a major setback in the controls of this app.

Power menu now displayed whenever Apple TV is used Not a huge deal but I'm just wondering why the menu is now always displayed when I first use the Apple TV each day. I then have to back out of it to get to whatever I was watching or the main menu. I'd rather it was like before.

Fire TV Toshiba 4k Apple TV app buffering constantly Every few seconds the stream is buffering, all other apps work great, hardwired fiber fast connection. I un-installed the app and reinstalled few times. When the buffering happens, the stream cursor appears then dissapears constantly. It's just a shame.. Only got it to watch MLS games.
