Apple ID won’t Sign Out. It is greyed out

● If an app or feature on your device is not working, not appearing, or is restricted (grayed out), a frequent reason is it may have been disabled using Screen Time, or by an IT administrator if you are using a device owned by an employer or educational institution.

Tap Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > scroll to Allow Changes and turn on.

• You may have restrictions on your device preventing account changes. Turning off screen time should then give you the option.
• If your account is locked/disabled you will not be able to sign out. Make sure you can log into the apple website to make sure your Apple ID is valid. https://appleid.apple.com
• If your device is being managed by a school or work environment using MDM software, then it is likely they are preventing you from signing out.

As you can see, there are many reasons why your Apple ID may be greyed out.
