High Sierra - the recovery server could not be contacted
I attempted to wipe my MacBook Air and start fresh. I’ve been able to successfully do this before but this time it is not working and keeps throwing out “the recovery server could not be contacted” when I go to reinstall High Sierra.
Things that I have already tried:
- Syncing the date through Terminal
- Using Disk Utility to repair/first aid - no issues
- Using Disk Utility to erase data from both APFS and APFS Encrypted
- Using Disk Utility to restore (nothing to restore apparently)
- Time Machine…
- Reset the NVRAM
- Checked internet connection (everything is fine)
I’m at a loss here, I just cannot get past this start up… at this rate I’m going to launch it out the window. Please help!!
