iPhone touchscreen not working when charging

I’ve read many posts on here about the iPhones touchscreen not working well when charging. I have just encountered the same problem and after testing 3 cables and getting the same result, I changed the charger and every cable worked fine…

so here is the resolution…. DO NOT USE A POWERFUL CHARGER, such as the ones for charging laptops, tablets or docking stations as they send out a high wattage and the power overload overloads the sensitivity of the touch screen.

usb into a computer is fine, into a docking station is fine and into a charger with the right wattage and amp rating for the device…. Anything greater than that creates a power overflow which effects the screen

Using a higher current charger is not the problem. Using a low quality charger is. The charge rate is managed by the charging circuit in the iPhone, not the power source. The phone will only take the energy it needs, which is 20 watts, whether the power source is a 20 watt or a 1,000 watt. ONLY use an Apple or Apple-certified Made for iPhone power source and cable. Lower quality power sources or cables can actually damage your phone, permanently.
