Touch screen input whilr charging

Iphone 15 Pro - iOS 17.5.1

using touch screen while the phone is charging is nearly impossible, half the input you give just dont work. Typing is the worst, in fact i just unplugged to write this. I just got this iphone 2 days ago after 4 years of iphone 12 which never gave me this problem. Is there a something i can try or i just have to wait for a patch?

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17

Are you using the cable that came with the phone? Or an old one. If you're using an old one, it's possible that the cable has gone bad. Weird though it may seem, a bad charging cable can cause touch screen issues. Try the new cable and see how things work.

Also, update the phone to iOS 17.6.1.

If it's not the cable, you should return the phone. If you got it from Apple, you have 14 days to return it. Don't make an appointment with the Genius Bar, don't ask to have the screen replaced. Just return it and get another one.
