Sim isn’t working. Getting 4 dots where the signal bars should be

iPhone 12

As of yesterday I’ve been unable to make calls or texts or receive them either. Next to the WiFi symbol. I’ve got 4 dots where the signal bars should be. I also don’t know why if it is an issue with the sim why does it not say ‘no sim’ ?

Anyone else had these 4 dots ? What do I need to do to get my phone working again?

If a restart does not sort your issue

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Settings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset Network Settings <—————————RESET

If you see SOS, No Service, or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
