Line spacing isn't working
I'm doing desktop publishing on Pages but the spaces between lines function isn't working. I have it set on 1.2 but the spaces between lines are around 10 and I don't know what is causing it

Verify that you have selected the lines to receive the spacing treatment before you change your spacing to 1.2. Verify that Before/After Paragraphs are set to 0 pt. And confirm the Spacing selector is set to Lines or Exactly.
How Spacing functions in Pages v13.1 on Monterey is no different than previous or subsequent versions of Pages.
Spacing can also be affected by the choice of font such as the difference between Adobe Garamond and Baskerville as two examples that with Spacing set to 1.2 show vastly different spacing.
