Restoring Messages Icon

I accidentally deleted my Messages icon. How do I restore it to my Home Screen?

The app might be in the App Library, the last Home Screen page. If you find the app in the App Library, drag it back to the Home Screen. If the app was truly deleted, download it again from the App Store: App Store - Messages.
