DELETE MUSIC FROM IPAD BUT NOT FROM IPHONE
Is there a way of deleting my music from my iPad without removing it from my iPhone.

Deleting music in the Music App on one device does not affect any other devices. The downloaded music is not synced back to iCloud or other devices.
Just tap on the ... menu next to the song title and then tap on Delete from Library. It will remove it from the iPad's Library only. It will not remove it from any other device connected to the same iCloud Music Library.
