I need iPhone to sound even when wearing watch

I’ve got a continuous glucose monitor. It measures blood sugar every 5 minutes and sends alerts if I’m high, low, disconnected, etc. When wearing my watch (ultra 2), the alerts on my phone are not audible. I need them to be audible on my phone so that my family can hear them if I get an alert. I know how to adjust the sound and haptics on the watch, but that does not solve the problem. My watch cannot be heard by others if I’m in the next room. My phone is loud enough but no sound if wearing my watch.

Help! This is a borderline dealbreaker if I can’t get audible alerts in both places.

Notifications appear on your Apple Watch or iPhone, but not both. By default if your iPhone is unlocked, you get notifications on your iPhone instead of your Apple Watch. If your iPhone is locked or asleep, you get notifications on your Apple Watch, unless your Apple Watch is locked.

Thanks but if taken literally that is not completely accurate. My fault for not clearing asking my question.

I get notifications in both places but they are not audible in both places. In contacts you can set an emergency bypass that allows a ring in both places no matter what. I know that is not specifically related to my dilemma , but it is an example of a way to get audible alerts anytime, anywhere and on any device.

I could have done a better job of asking the question. Is there a workaround, best practice or iOS shortcut that will allow me to get audible alerts in both places?
