Which one to choose between Verizon Cloud and iCloud backup?

I have a Verizon Cloud as well as ur iCloud backup. So Verizon would not let me load a good bit of my pictures . For two days I have been trying to get all my

photo's into my Verizon cloud . It tells me if I have back up of a different turned on then it will not download them all to my VCloud account. My question is plz tell me what is better about iPhone backup? I am not really I understand it all about our cloud thing period but I want all my

pictures and files in one place together and safe ..
