WiFi Passwords not shared from MacBook to iPhone

When connecting to a wifi network known on my MacBook, the password isn't being "shared" to my iPhone. For example, if I visit a place that has a WiFi password that is already on my MacBook, but if my phone doesn't have that password saved, when I connect my iPhone to the WiFi network, my iPhone prompts me for the password.

For some reason my WiFi passwords aren't being shared from my MacBook to my iPhone.

(Side note: Other contacts can share the password with me. This problem is just between my MacBook and my iPhone.)

iPhone 14, iOS 17
