iPad Pro Keyboard "This accessory is not supported by this device"

any updates on this? I’m the latest victim. Apple support are wonderfully polite but offer no resolution other than throwing it in the garbage and buying a new keyboard. It’s net poor design. I could send it into the local Apple agent, but would need to spend $100 to receive an estimate of repair cost. And it’s common knowledge that Magic Keyboard is not repairable.

See >>> If you see an ‘Accessory may not be supported’ alert - Apple Support

If you are using a Smart (folio) keyboard, the alert is typical of a faulty folio keyboard. Eventually the electrical connections that pass through the flexible fabric hinges will work-harden and fracture - this usually resulting in errors and/or the on-screen notification that you see.

As you correctly observe, these keyboards cannot be repaired when faulty - only replaced.
