Fake unread messages

My phone shows 35 unread messages but I've opened everything, why?

Messages My phone says 148 unchecked messages but I can’t find any new messages. I’ve updated to latest version. Any other ideas or input. Drives me crazy!

IPhone messages Even though I have no unread massages the massege icon indicates that I have 1 unread messages. Tried to reset my iPhone but it did not help. What shall I do to get cancel the wrong indication?

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
