I need to remove the control panel shortcut (fuzzy gray button) from my iPad mini screen.

It is annoying to say the least. I move it but it’s still annoying !

Perhaps you refer to the Assistive Touch control:

Settings > Accessibility > [Touch] AssistiveTouch > AssistiveTouch - set to OFF

I hate the little red, yellow and green buttons in the upper left hand corner of my iPad since the.last OS update. i really hate the colored buttons in the new iPad OS 26 update. They may be suitable for a Mac (which I don’t own), but they’re terrible on the smaller iPad screen. The whole new screen controls are a big step backwards. The colored buttons are too small and too difficult to get to. Very often I have to resize the screen to be able to use them. Os there any way to go back to the older screen control layout without rolling the OS all the way back to the earlier OS (if that’s even possible)?

How to remove the black "a" with circle icon from iPad Air M3 screen See icon below. It is on my ipad air M3 screen at all times ever since I updated to iOS 26 and then iOS 26.2. I have gone into Accessibility-Zoom and ensured Zoom was off, based on the suggestions, then turned my ipad off then back on, but it is still there. Any other suggestions for removing this?
