sonnet and OWC are far more likely to be trouble-free with Macs.

All require careful checking of specs. DO NOT ASSUME works with one version of macOS works with all. Some work only with older, others ONLY with newer versions of MacOS.

"Blazing fast" is really comical. They all ship inside aluminum integrated heatsinks, because they get really HOT.

What Mac? what macOS?

Apple appears to have 'pulled up the ladder', after MacOS Monterey 12.2. Certain models that did Not use the S version of interface chips become orphans, and could not be upgraded further.

Some others don't appear to START working until after that version, so you must shop very carefully.

The less expensive Sabrent version looks doubtful for use after MacOS 12.2, but probably works great in Windows.
