Apple TV 4 apps not responding

When I click on say Hulu or Prime video apps it just shows a cloud symbol

Verify that the currently active Apple ID account is set the a country or country-like region where these apps are available through Apple. The Hulu app in Apple’s App Store would be available to users with their Apple ID set to the US. The Hulu app would only work with the IP address is geolocated for the US (or its territories). The Prime Video service would be available much wider (~200 countries and regions), although the Apple TV box supports a subset of that (~98 I think).


If the Apple ID account is somehow locked or disabled, then access to the App Store would be denied, so re-downloading apps wouldn’t work then. Contact Support if that is the case.
