Wifi and Mobile Data not working for apps on iPhone 14 Pro Max

I've an Iphone 14 Pro Max. Today out of nowhere my internet stopped working. neither wifi nor mobile data but there's a twist. internet works fine for safari and app store but all other apps be it Whatsapp, Snapchat or Instagram, none of them working. I tried deleting and installing them again. Didnt work. Tried resetting network settings but to no avail. also tried restarting my phone. it didnt help either. can anyone out there help me with this? what is causing apps not work with wifi or mobile data but safari and apps store working fine
