I would like to get in contact with someone from Apple who could sponsor our college engineering student organization. How would I go about doing this?
Apple is already sort-of sponsoring college students worldwide through individual educationally priced purchases and UNiDAYS discounts. You’re free to request all sorts of things, but any sponsoring will very likely be on Apple’s terms and choices, not the applicant’s. What Apple chooses to sponsor, will usually bring back multiplied positive exposure (e.g. phones and computers for a movie or TV show). They’re not known to give to any (student) organization in particular, just on request. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
You have to contact Apple because they will not see your question in these user-to-user forums. We do not have access to organizational contact lists that Apple have not published.
A letter on uni letterhead will have far more impact than a phone call or email.
