iPhone wallpaper desaturates when transitioning between the Lock and Home Screen

When I go from the Lock Screen to the Home Screen on my iPhone 14, my wallpaper visibly desaturates. I’ve tried restarting my iPhone (both regular and force restarting) but the problem still persists. The problem happens in both light and dark mode, and worse yet, if I try to make a new wallpaper pair the desaturation gets worse.
