I use my microphone extensively to dictate Text messages and Notes. Recently it quit working on both of these apps/functions. All I get is a blue outlined buffering circle for a few seconds and then nothing populates. The microphone DOES work on the VoiceMemos app (which I never use), but does not on either Texts or Notes.
Have searched for an answer but nothing has worked thus far. Can anybody help with this?

Did you ever get this figured out/resolved? I only ask bc my phone just did the EXACT SAME THING like 20 minutes ago. Obvi I turned to Google for answers, which led me to this dead end as I've tried everything except factory reset and, well, you know the rest, I guess ha ha. Seriously tho, I've got a ton of homework for my Intro to Forensics class due Monday that require the use of my mic 😩. 🤦🏻♀️
