Recently purchased new iPhone and transferred all my old phone info via e-simm. Everything works fine except that I now get a "Could not activate cellular data network" notice when not in wifi range. That never happened with the previous iPhone. Any ideas?

Have you restarted the iPhone ie power off/on...(?)

Did you try resetting your Network Setting....(?)
Settings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset Network Settings <—————————RESET
If you see SOS, No Service, or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

What did your cellular data provider have to say when you told them about your cellular data issue?
