I'd like to get a lapell mic to use when I'm videoing, it could be wireless of one that I connect to my phone. What happens to the audio that the iPhone 13 pro max would be recording? Thanks for help!

If there is a mic connected and the iPhone sees that as a connected mic it will not record from the internal mic, but it will be using only the external mic instead
