How does Apple Watch location tracking work in Family Sharing?

My Apple Watch died like 4 days ago and the last known location is different on my phone than my brothers for the exact watch. We are under the same family but different Apple ID. Whose last location should I follow because I really want to find it?

Hi, my daughter's apple watch was stolen yesterday, we've been trying to get the location of it but it says the location services are off for the watch but they shouldn't be as her location is always shared between me and my husband. Whoever took it must have turned it off because we put it into "lost mode" and if I try to request a ping or anything, her phone tells me "it will be enabled when online". I have the box checked to notify me via email if the watch is found. Since she has parental controls on her phone, shouldn't we be able to control all of this through the phone that is set to be the creator of our family group? Is there anyway to find her watch or change the location settings through her phone or parent phone? Her phone and watch are connected via voice. Daughter's phone is iPhone 13 pro, watch model is Apple Watch SE. Any help is very much appreciated to help finding my daughters watch! Thank you!!

Apple Watch Location No Showing Up Anymore Son's Apple Watch is no longer showing up on our Find My Iphone App. He is part of our Family Account -how would he have turned this off? His phone is still showing up.

Apple Watch Family Location Sharing Hello, needing some advice with an Apple Watch. I’m considering buying a certified refurbished Apple Watch for my son. He’s only 5, he wouldn’t be using it as a watch. I was more looking for having cellular tracking with Find my as well as a way to call emergency contacts if needed. The issue I’m concerned of, is sharing location. Are you able to share location with multiple Apple ID’s?? Could I set it up to share his location with me, but also send it to another Apple ID without sharing my own location. I would like to see his location, and him mom would like to as well for when he is at school. But I do not want our locations to have to be shared with each other as we are not together. Any insight would be great. Thanks

Personally I would search the location my paired iPhone saved at first, then check the other place.

You could also check iCloud Find my, by logging into your iCloud Account on a browser on a computer.
