Can my iphone be hacked if I visited a Chrome website that is not private?

I visited a website that says "Your connection is not private" and I still proceeded anyway. Will I get hacked?

You will hear just about anything on the Internet, including proof that the earth is flat.

You cannot get hacked just by visiting a website.

You have to visit a website (and ignore the message about a suspicious site), click on a link, click to install the software and ignore the warnings about suspicious software, then provide personal details like your Apple ID and Password, etc.

So, please stop worrying and just be careful out there.

?

to add —

"private" is the new HTTPS (secure), not all websites have made the conversion from the older HTTP, this does not mean you are any more at risk then you were before; it is about data transmission, your "hacked" is something different.
