Power off the phone if it is on and let the phone dry for at least a day, two would be better. Do NOT put the phone in rice.

It will help the drying process if you can stand the phone on end against a wall or other surface so the ports and openings on the phone are at the bottom.

If the phone will not power on correctly after the drying period, unfortunately the phone is going to be a total loss. Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to authorized Apple service shop so they can go over your options with you.

You can find a list of authorized shops in your area using this link: Find Locations

Good luck.

Welcome to The Apple Support communities “_jkpy”!

Have you tried to dry it with a hair dryer or expose it to a heat source?

Try to force restart your iPhone by the steps below ⬇️:

Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

if you see the Apple logo () for a second and then the screen get black let us know !

Regards!
