Logic option copy and drag not working

Logic Pro X option copy and drag has suddenly quit working. When I option click, select and drag, it just moves the data, does not duplicate it.

I've tried restarting, etc. But it still won't perform that function. It was working fine the last time I worked with Logic.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on?

Unable to move or navigate a row after a drag attempt What is going on here (I tried moving a row) The line with left column value 234.2.4.2.4.1.1 was being dragged from below the line with 24.2.4.2.4.1.5. I tried dragging it up, but it didn't drop. Instead, if I click on this row, and I tap the up/down arrows, nothing happens. If I instead tap on one of the other rows, e.g., 234.2.4.2.4 and use the arrow keys, it goes to the other rows but not 234.2.4.2.4.1.1. It seems like the drag/drop is stuck in a transition state. How can I resolve this?

on my Mac, drag and drop is no longer working after the latest Ventura update. On my Mac, drag and drop is no longer working after the latest Ventura update. I am able to copy and paste, but can't just grab a picture or document and move it. This seems to be the case for all the applications I use.

D'oh! I realized my keyboard is malfunctioning. The alt/opt key is not working.
