- What is your audio setup? Do you use the TV’s built-in speakers, or something else?
- The Siri Remote can send IR signals directly (not through the Apple TV box) to the TV or audio system — different from navigation, which uses Bluetooth to the Apple TV box. So check for an open line-of-sight from the remote to the IR receptor.
- Select supported AV receivers may offer volume control over HDMI-CEC. Notably, this wouldn't be available to TV speakers, as TVs typically do not support this audio control function through CEC.
