Remote no longer mutes the audio when mute button selected

You may have configured additional AirPlay 2 speakers, in addition to the TV’s speakers. Press and hold the screens button (upper right) to drop down the control center (?) Below the Power button is the Audio control. In here, you can toggle on or off AND adjust the individual speaker’s volume, for any AirPlay 2 speakers as well as the TV’s speakers and your AirPods.


Whichever speaker you left your cursor on is the speaker whose volume is controlled on the remote, and which is muted when you press the mute button.
